Creativity is a marriage of feminine and masculine energy. It is a regulator or tool of sublimation in the balance of living. When held consciously, we can derive great meaning from it. We live in a complex world filled with inflated masculine energy, making for stifled creative energy as the disavowed feminine is ignored. In this three-week course, we will explore the relationship between masculine and feminine energy in creativity through lecture, discussion, and arts-based experiential activities. Our goal is to better understand the role creativity can play in giving voice to the inner feminine in communion with masculine energy.
