An Evening with

The great gift that we receive from the work of C.G. Jung is that psyche wants to be heard, and it demands our attention through the visitations that come to us through dreams, images, and fantasies, as well as visions and synchronicities (Lockhart, 1985).  But do we listen?  Dreams are a manifestation of the soul and are an essential part of soul making.

In some traditions, it is believed that the dream figures are dreaming us.  But regardless of belief, we know that the dream landscape is a place where the visible and the invisible realms interact, and once we allow the images to play a role in our lives, they lead us to "the depth beyond depth."

Brendan Feeley, M.A., D.Ay., studied the depth psychology of C.G. Jung at Pacifica Graduate Institute because he had an interest in psyche and soul and particularly the psychology of the imagination. He is a professional astrologer and can be reached at bpfeeley@aol.com or www.bpfeeley.com.
